Located in the heart of Paris,
a stone's throw from
the Champs Élysées
EDF and the Paris 2024
and Place de la Concorde,
the Pavilion was designed
to showcase the EDF Group's
long-standing
commitment to sport.

Solar shading, innovations at the Olympic Aquatic Centre... An opportunity to find out all about the solutions developed by the EDF Group to help make the 2024 Olympics a more energy-efficient and responsible event.

CONTEXT

On the strength of its 30-year partnership with the world of sport, particularly disabled sport, and its support for many athletes, EDF was the natural choice as official electricity supplier to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

A pavilion open throughout the summer to raise awareness among the general public of the innovations developed for greater energy efficiency and to highlight the EDF Group's historic commitment to sport.

BIG IDEA

The EDF Pavilion: more than a pavilion, an XXL playground of immersive, fun experiences!

The path was designed as a succession of worlds inspired by the disciplines practised by Team EDF athletes.
Immersed in a giant swimming pool, visitors can interact, take part in VR armchair races, challenge themselves to a swim, take a virtual kayak trip, discover the innovations of the EDF Group as well as the model of the electric flame installed in the Tuileries Gardens during summer of 2024!

RESULTS

  • A 1,000 sqm immersive experience
  • Open 47 for days
  • Over 55,000 visitors
  • 1.7m people reached on social networks
