APF FRANCE HANDICAP - #MARCHESATTAQUE
General Public
Stunt
PublicisLive Paris came up with #MarchesAttaque to help APF France Handicap raise awareness among the French population about certain urban areas that are inaccessible to disabled people.
contexte
9 out of 10 people struggle to get around on a day-to-day basis.
The elderly, the disabled, the overweight, parents with buggies: we are all affected by poor accessibility. How could we rally the French together around this issue to mark National Mobility and Accessibility Week and with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games just one year away?
big idea
During the night of Saturday 24 April, our “MarchesAttaque” brigade simultaneously painted huge fissures and cracks onto the stairways at Montmartre in Paris and at Croix-Rousse in Lyon! A short-term campaign with environmentally-friendly paint but maximum impact, drawing attention to the inaccessibility of these iconic city stairways.
#MarchesAttaque is also a transferable kit enabling the association’s members to become street militants and denounce the most inaccessible areas of their respective cities: stairs, pavements, etc.
Last of all, #MarchesAttaque is also a website giving everyone an opportunity to:
Share the campaign on social media;
Download and distribute flyers around the areas where they live;
Find out more about the association’s action plans and initiatives;
Raise the issue with the government by e-mail;
Get involved by making a donation or becoming a volunteer.
